Our Story

Our Story

In 2017, we planted a church in an elementary school in Fullerton, where we had the privilege of serving the surrounding community and supporting the families connected to the school. When
the Covid19 pandemic hit, we were forced to pause our services. Even so, we continued walking alongside many families in the community in the years that followed.

In 2023, we were invited to share the gospel at a local junior high school through the Jesus Club a weekly Wednesday lunch gathering where students hear God’s Word. What began as a small group quickly grew, and today many students come each week to listen, ask questions, request prayer, seek encouragement and have a desire to learn more about Jesus.

Through this journey, God has made our next step clear: we are called to plant a bilingual church in English and Spanish at the school to reach and serve the community more effectively giving families and students a place they can attend to, receive support, and encounter the love of Jesus.

Our presence in this neighborhood is not accidental; it is a mission field. By establishing a church within the community, we can serve our neighbors, connect with families, and bring hope to those in need.

Why Plant a Bilingual Church in the Community?

A bilingual church reflects the everyday reality of Fullerton English for the second generation, Spanish for the first generation, and both languages shaping family life.

Key reasons include:

  • Community Strengthening: A church presence brings support, stability and hope to families.
  • Evangelism: Many people are spiritually open but do not have a church home.
  • Restoration: The community is seeking stability, healing and a renewed sense of hope.
  • Family Connection: Bilingual ministry honors the cultural and linguistic identity of the neighborhood.
